Its really a liberating experience doing what I did this day. Sure, the money is a total bonus and it will help pay for my trip to Oahu in January but this is something I really wanted to do before I get older. I'm in my best shape ever, and even my boyfriend encouraged me to try. I'm nineteen, and in my second year of college. I graduated with a 4.2 in high school, and I'm in pre-med right now. If things go right for me, I'll be aiming to become a doctor (pediatrics). If gross anatomy (which I'm taking next semester) really grosses me out, then maybe I'll end up going for Law. My favorite subjects are science and history. But why medical school? Well I was born in Colombia, and at the time until I was 6 (we then moved to the US) I had a very bad case of asthma. My parents had no insurance, so I ended up going to a special 'charity' hospital where I would get treated. The doctor I would see was the kindest man in the world, and since then I've always wanted to do the same. Even maybe go back there and work in the same way. My dad is no longer in the picture, but I'm very close to my mom. She was traveling to Portland and I could get away for the weekend to Phoenix. I've never been her before but at the airport in transit. Even though the photographer said its colder now, it seemed really hot to me! I love the architecture here, and the mountain they call Camelback was calling to me. I'm so drawn to rock climbing you wouldn't know!
